Very incredible app. Big Up! Big respect !!

This is a cool app: it does what it promises to do - and much more, if youre smart and creative. It lets you work within a grid (bars, etc) but also in free mode, and thats when things get interesting. A good feature is the ability to make slight shifts in loop synch, which is well known to make things interesting, from dr dre to brian eno. The interface lacks some clarity, some features are hard to find but I believe this is ver. 1. Great for music fun, from blues to turntablism, its also good to make small projects or pre-production. I use it with an iRig and it works flawlessly.

I sold my beloved Boss Rc-50 Loopstation because of this amazing app! Easy to use, lot of fun and infinite possibility for instant music creators like me! Anyway theres something that I really miss of my ex loopstation! loopy hd could be even greater if a reverse playback and undo function would be added.. maybe also an instant punch-in rec mode with just a momentary touch of the track it would be super nice... please please please lets do theese amazong improvement and I will love loopy for the rest of my life!!!

Cool options and beautiful interface

This one really deserves 5 stars! The interface is well designed and very easy to use, functionality is all there, you get more tracks than any hardware looper, plus it supports all the current standards on the iPhone and iPad like virtual MIDI and Audiobus. the only things I missing are: pitch shifting and reversing the loops, I hope they will add that sooner or later.

A must have for every iOS musician!

Always a solid, not to mention famous loop solution. Hmmn... why do people say "not to mention" when they are in the process of mentioning something... but I digress. Get this app, especially if you have your own late night talk show.

Every time I try to record something with my iPad Pro 9.7 all I get is static. Monitoring is set to off. This app is pretty much useless now

Got free and for that what you get is good to play with in program. As a guitar player do not know "Key" the bass and organ dubs. Being able to change the "Key" would be great.

Essential app for any iPad musician. I was going to get a hardware loop machine until I discovered this app. So many more possibilities. Update - This app is the best live looping app out there. I have tired several and always come back to Loopy. It is stable, unlimited amout of Midi routing. The developer has continued to support the app through the years with updates and features.

I want to get sound into the app from outside of the app, in particular, from the DAW on my computer. So far, cant do it. You can use the useless mic on the iOS device. SO WHAT.

Im not a dumb guy, if anything, the opposite is true - I have a well above average IQ and several postgrad degrees. I know how to use every App and my various iPhones quite well as I bought my first iPhone the first day they were released for sale in the United States of America. I also have a pretty good background in music. Ive been involved in performing music in one way or another for over 30 years now. However with this app theres just something about it (I dont know what it is) but I dont get a good thing out of it. My end result just turns out being garbage. Im sorry to say this because I see some people love it. I worked with it for a long time, trying to find exactly where things were going wrong by studying the user guide then using the app. Back-and-forth using it more and learning more ... but again, the end result just came out wrong just didnt ever sound right.

My 12 year old granddaughter asked me to put it on my phone while she was visiting; IT WAS A BUST.

I payed for trash dont buy it.
